The door opens surprsingly easily and you step through it, straight into the incense-scented darkness of the shop. Perhaps it took you some time to gather the courage to enter, perhaps you just shrugged and walked right in - but whatever your path had been, you now stop to take in the almost-darkness.
There are soft footsteps approaching you, and as a candle suddenly comes alight, you see a strange person -one you can't quite pin as male or female. He/she is wearing a traditional Chinese dress (a cheongsam? your memory prompts). He/she is very beautiful.
"I bid you welcome, visitor, on behalf of the owner of this abode, the Lady Winter," he/she says. "Whether you seek ways to craft digital dreams or binary nightmares, you will find the knowledge here - in the Paint Shop of Horrors."
As you might have guessed, this establishment deals in tutorials on how to use Jasc Software's Paint Shop Pro, commonly known as PSP. The tutorials here are geared towards PSP 7/7.04, though some of them are easily adaptable into earlier versions. Please be patient - this site is only starting, and new tutorials will be added often.
I also have the honor of hosting part of Joe Cilinceon's tutorials from his late lamented New Dawn Micro site. This part constitutes of his Effects Tutorials. Those are wonderful effects that demonstrate PSP's abilities in a very accessible way, and a great starting point for the more enquiring novice to the program.
Then again, I have a small collection of PSP resources - tubes and presets made by Yours Truly.
And of course what site could be complete without a links section?
