I do not deny that Van Helsing is a Bad Movie. But the problem is, that's what it set out to be. Also, Richard Roxburgh as Dracula is far too good, and the tantalising hints about Gabriel Van Helsing's angelic past are too tempting to pass them by.
Please note that in order to fit Van Helsing into the historical Dracula continuity of Vlad Tepes' reign, in most of my stories Vlad is named Vlad, not Vladislaus, and the Valerious are his mother's family, making him the old Valerious' sister-son.
